For the Tibetans, their definition for human rights is slaughtering people......their sense of freedom is burning down buildings.....and people still feel sympathy to those.......TERRORISTS???? They have already burned 4 young girls and a baby....They throw stones at a six years old boy for god sakes.....And those Tibetans cut off a woman's ears. Can you still call that "the right thing to do"? Can you still call them " the innocent poor Tibetans"?

The only reason why Tibet can survive for the past centuries is because of China. Without the Chinese government building railroads, hospital, schools........Tibetan would already have been gone....... There would be no such thing as "Tibetans". Instead of thanking China for everything they done for Tibet, those Tibetans became so vicious toward the Chinese government.

Also, you guys might heard people saying that the Chinese invaded Tibet...But the truth is....It wasn't the Chinese who invaded Tibet, it was the Mongolians.....but come to think about it...that time, the Mongolians took over half of the planet. Can you still say that it was China who hurt Tibet?

The reason why the Chinese government doesn't want Tibet to leave china is because if china let Tibet go......all the Tibetans will "cease to exist" They cannot live on their own. They depend on China to survive.

Say....If there were terrorists disrupting your country, wouldn't the police in your country capture them? Wouldn't the police in your country kill those murders? The rest of the world is busy feeling sorry for those " poor Tibetans", but has any of them ever consider the pain in China? the media exaggerated the numbers of the died monks, but most of the people who got killed, were Chinese. One shop owner tried to defend his shop but what happened to him? He got stabbed by the Tibetans several times and died immediately.

Now, let me ask you one last question......No, you should ask yourselves this last question.....Who is the villain and who is the victim?

Is this YOUR sense of freedom?

My sense of freedom is far away from what You're imposing.
First of all, I don't see any FACTS, but just some kind of emotional propaganda. What exactly has happened? Where and when?
How can You call somebody a terrorist without even justifying it? The only thing which I see is that Chinese government is afraid of these people who protest and try to speak the truth about what's happening in Tibet, especially before the Olympics. Is freedom of speech such a threat? If these people were liars than nobody would take whatever they're saying seriously. It's also my freedom to call them how I want and You shouldn't even try to change my mind about it.
Why don't You explain to many people why Dalai Lama was seeking for an asylum in India? Why Seventeen Point Agreement has been broken by China? Nobody asked China for help, Tibet has been invaded and that is the FACT.
I will stand by it no matter how hard You will try to convince me that I am wrong.

Go to youtube and search for Tibet and look at the first video. That is all the prove i need to say that Tibetans are terrorists. Also, you might think that you are doing the right thing by supporting "Free Tibet", but did you know that most of the Tibetans doesn't want independence? So you think you are helping them......IF Tibet really did separate, there will be a lot of ANGRY Tibetans cursing you.
----------------------------------------------
Most Tibetans DOES NOT want independence. A few Tibetan friends told me that this whole " Free Tibet" thing is about Dalai's own greedy purposes. They also told me that Dalai wants to seize control over Tibet that is why he is trying so hard to separate China. Also, there are less than 1/3 of the Tibetans who actually want independence.

I don't believe in everything what I see on Youtube. There are plenty of desperate Chinese people out there who want to show their very radical point of view on that issue, and there are also many desperate Westeners who want to defend Tibet as much as they can. Where's the truth?
I agree with the one thing. Tibetans don't want the independence, they want autonomy.
I don't see anything wrong in that. Why does the Chinese government put such a pressure on them?
Why are the strikes then in Lhasa? For what reason?
You know, usually people don't react so desperate for nothing.
Cutting off media access is a violation of human rights so why is it so important to keep the Tibet out of the Western's World sight?
And I hope that this time You'll write any explanation for that instead of just writing down Your own experience with Tibet.

Tibet really was not a very plesant place before China got involved. It was basically a slave state. 2% of the population owned the other 98%. The aristocracy and religious leaders ran everything and dictated everything. People were indoctrinated from their youth to believe that they deserved to suffer because of karma. They had sinned in a previous life and deserved to suffer in this one. If they fought against their masters they would be reborn as something even worse in the next life, like a bug or a WOMAN.

The tibetan word for woman meant cursed birth. They were considered the lowest form of person - even lower then the slaves.

I'm not saying that the red army didn't do some terrible things, or that the that Mao went about bringing 'revolution' to the country was necessarily the best way to do it, but Tibet isn't the glorious kind, buddhist monk-filled country that people thing it is/was.

People weren't allowed to learn to read because literacy threatened the status queue. Medicine was considered a sin. Any attempts to use any kind of technological or scientific advances got you whipped or killed.

I am and American and I think that the only reason people(America didn't do it first) are doing it is because it's the "cool" thing to do.The reviews here just told me a lot more than any news program, and I really value that knowledge.

Two words: Cultural Revolution.

Before you go accusing Tibet supporters of being ignorant or not knowing their stuff, please go read up on the history of the country.
